Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Neoma, our services, and how we work.
General
What is Neoma?
Neoma is a workforce transformation company helping organisations reskill and upskill their existing employees into high-demand tech and AI roles. We believe that the best tech talent might already be inside your building — they just haven’t been given the tools or pathways to get there yet.
Who is Neoma for?
We work with medium-to-large organisations — corporates, government bodies, and enterprises — who are navigating digital transformation, restructuring, or skills shortages. If you have people whose roles are evolving or at risk, we can help.
Where is Neoma based?
We’re based in Sydney, Australia — but we work with clients across the country and are gearing up for international expansion.
What makes Neoma different from other training providers?
We don’t just deliver training — we deliver transformation. Our programs are built around your workforce, not off the shelf. We combine research-backed assessments, immersive learning, and real-world project experience, all embedded within your business context. We also focus on underrepresented groups and career changers, because we believe the future of tech should reflect the real world.
Our Services
What services does Neoma offer?
We offer three core services: AI Upskilling — practical, team-based programs that build confident, capable AI users across your organisation. Tech Reskilling — immersive pathways that transition high-potential employees into technical roles like data, engineering, or product. Workforce Transformation — strategic advisory and implementation support to future-proof your people strategy.
What’s included in a typical engagement?
Every engagement starts with a discovery phase where we assess your current workforce, skills gaps, and strategic goals. From there, we design a tailored program — which could include skills assessments, cohort-based training, mentoring, and post-program support. No two programs are exactly the same.
Can Neoma customise a program for our organisation?
Absolutely. That’s actually how we prefer to work. We co-design programs with your team so they’re directly aligned to your internal career pathways, systems, and strategic goals.
How long do programs typically run?
It depends on the scope, but most reskilling programs run between 3–6 months. AI upskilling can be delivered in shorter bursts — from intensive workshops to ongoing capability-building over several weeks.
Our Approach
How does Neoma identify potential in employees?
We use research-backed, skills-based assessments that go beyond traditional CVs and credentials. We look at cognitive strengths, learning agility, problem-solving ability, and motivation. This allows us to accurately predict who will thrive in a new tech role — not just who looks like they should on paper.
Does Neoma offer ongoing support after training?
Yes. We build sustainable capability, not one-off training. Our programs include mentoring, community access, and follow-up coaching to help participants succeed long after the formal learning ends.
What kind of results has Neoma achieved?
Our co-founders have collectively launched hundreds of new tech careers. Program completion rates sit above 95%, and our approach has been recognised through multiple industry awards. We’re building on that track record with every new engagement.
